Just five minutes from Carol Stream Crossing is a lively destination where friends love to meet. Established in 2009, Manhattan’s American Bar & Grill is a local favorite.

Established by Sindy Rogers, the restaurant has many regulars who enjoy the homemade meals served in large portions and the live musical entertainment that has everyone tapping their toes.

The upcoming performers take everyone back to yesteryear, and include:

Shindig (December 7th)

Shindig takes fans on a fun journey back to the 1960s: the greatest and most diverse decade of rock and roll music. The group plays throughout Illinois and covers more than ninety different bands. Their repertoire includes “Somebody to Love,” “Then He Kissed Me,” and “Angel of the Morning.”

Rick Saucedo (December 21st)

Rick Saucedo is an Elvis tribute artist who has nearly fifty years of musical experience. He began experimenting with songwriting and playing the hits of the 50s and 60s with his junior high band, and his professional career began in 1972. A few years later, he opened for the Monkees at the Chicago Theatre and went on to star in the Broadway play The Legend Lives On after the passing of Presley. Rick’s storied career has taken him across the globe, and his songs include “All Shook Up,” “Viva Las Vegas,” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

The StingRays (December 31st)

The StingRays are one of Chicagoland’s most popular oldies bands. The members are known for their intensity, energy, and passion, and they boast that they play the greatest songs ever written. Their repertoire includes “When We Kissed,” “Brown Eyed Girl,” and “Land of 1000 Dances.”
