Enjoy a Night of Laughs at Zanies

If you want to laugh the night away with friends, head to Zanies.

This standup club features national headliners in a cozy environment, and upcoming performers include:

Nate Weatherup (November 14 & 15)

Nate Weatherup recently moved from Chicago to Los Angeles, and he has spent the last six years entertaining at comedy clubs throughout the country. He takes part in competitions such as the World Series of Comedy. But when he’s not headlining, he’s often found opening for Full House’s Dave Coulier.

Pat McGann (November 21 through December 29)

Considered one of Chicago’s top acts, Pat McGann is known for his observational humor and quick wit. He created the Emmy nominated show The Chicago Stand Up Project. He also appeared on programs such as The Late Show with David Letterman and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. When Pat isn’t on stage or in front of a camera, he enjoys entertaining on the radio.

John Caponera (November 23 & 24)

After winning a talent show at a Chicago bar in 1979, John Caponera realized he might have something to offer in the world of comedy. He worked the city’s club circuit for two years before taking his act on the road. John has been recognized by the Chicago Tribune and the Las Vegas Review-Journal. When he’s not telling jokes, he often makes guest appearances on dramas and sitcoms.

Kellye Howard (November 28)

Based in Chicago, Kellye Howard is a writer, actress, and comedian who has been featured on Fox, NBC, and Comedy Central. Her goal is to motivate and inspire through performance, and she shares her real-life experiences through a comedic fashion. The Chicago Sun-Times once called Kellye the “boldest” comedian in the city, and she also hosts a podcast called “Less Petty with Kellye Howard.”
